Dear congregations of the Presbytery of Wisconsin-Minnesota;
The CHEX Committee is hosting the First Annual Home Missions Banquet on April 19, 2024, at Bethel Church in Oostburg, Wisconsin. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a time of fellowship and punch and proceed to a catered gluten-free meal and updates given by the church planters in our Presbytery followed by our own RHM Jim Hoekstra.
We look forward to the fellowship together as well as the opportunity to be informed as to how to continue to support and pray for the work of church planting within our presbytery. We also desire to raise financial support for the work of church planting and home missions within our presbytery.
How can you be involved?
One way is through being a table captain for your church. A table captain is one who would be willing to cover the cost of the dinner for 6 people at his/her table ( $30×6=$180) and then recruit congregation members to join him/her at their table. We would pray that some churches would have multiple table captains. If you are willing to be a table captain, please contact Mr. Jim Onnink and RSVP that role either by phone ( 920.564.3715) or by email at wjonnink@aol.com.
Another way to be involved is to simply contact Mr. Onnink and let him know of your desire to be added to a table. We will make the reservation for you.
Above all, let us all be in prayer for this banquet and for God to abundantly bless our presbytery as we continue to strive to be faithful in the work of home missions in our presbytery.
